It has been six years since our family purchased the old Comfort Suites hotel and the adjacent Ports of Call Plaza in Providenciales Turks and Caicos and totally renovated it and rebranded it as the Ports of Call Resort.
The hotel business was a new experience for us and one that we have come to love. One of the perks, unlike our other businesses, is that our time at the resort allows us the opportunity to get to interact with our customers (guests) in a more personalized and relaxed setting and hopefully, along with the efforts of our fantastic staff, make them feel part of our Ports of Call family.
We sincerely express our appreciation to the government, tourist board, residents and especially our loyal guests for the support they have shown in both welcoming us to the island and assisting our efforts to make the resort as popular as it has become.
One of our goals, from the onset of our purchase, was to give back to the community. While we are proud of the improvements we have made to the hotel and plaza and the resulting positive effect that it has had on Grace Bay, as soon as we heard that the Salvation Army Turks and Caicos had been granted some money to build a multi-purpose centre that would eventually include a woman’s shelter, an early childhood classroom area, and an adult education and resource centre we knew that this would be an appropriate recipient of our donation. We all know what wonderful work the salvation Army does for communities around the world. We sincerely hope that our donation will motivate other businesses and citizens to contribute to this worthwhile cause as well.
We once again thank our loyal guests. Without your continued patronage this donation would not have been possible.
We plan to continue giving back to the community so feel good that your stays with us are having a positive impact on the wonderful island of Providenciales, Turks and Caicos.
